DKSoftware

Complex software you understand at a glance.

DK Software makes Digitaal Kantoor. That platform can do so much that it is hard to explain. We built a new website that shows the platform clearly, translated the features into one clear message and gave the brand a fresh look. The site went from 88 to 17 pages, focused on clarity and conversion. Business owners now see right away that they are dealing with a professional company.

The problem

The platform can do so much that it was hard to explain.

DK Software makes Digitaal Kantoor, a platform that brings together the administration, documents and processes of business owners. The old site listed features, while a visitor wants to know whether this solves their problem.

That is why the assignment started with the message. First, establish what the platform delivers for a business owner. Then present it so they understand it in a few seconds.

The solution

We turned a list of features into one story.

We translated the features into what they deliver for a business owner and built the site around that one message. The site went from 88 to 17 pages, focused on clarity and conversion. Every page leads to contact.

The steps

In four steps to a site that sells.

01

Focus

We dug into the platform and talked to customers. What does Digitaal Kantoor solve and for whom?

02

Story and structure

The message reduced to one sentence and the site cut from 88 to 17 pages, with the structure built around that sentence.

03

Design and build

Designed and built, with all the emphasis on readability, speed and the path to contact.

04

Launch and adjust

Measured what visitors do after launch and sharpened the copy and layout accordingly.
